Thanks to Bob Kyffin for sending along the list of Eastern Township’s curling clubs in order of seniority so we all know who should have the blue stones and who should have the reds when playing in a bonspiel.

Apparently our Spring Mixed Open Modified Bonspiel (wow! that’s a mouthful) is going to be a “blast from the past” – or at least so say the organizers.
When I saw what they had in store, my mind went into reverse and got stuck on this sappy and sugary tune from 1969 when i was…wait for it…not quite sweet 16. And now I’m those numbers transposed. Holy hell. That was 45 years ago. Almost half a century. Damn.
